At Tuscany MedSpa, we want to assure you that the "budget" Laser Systems and the Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technologies that are shown in the CNN report are NOT in use today nor have they EVER been used at Tuscany MedSpa. We believe it is important that you understand that there is a difference in these technologies. Businesses that offer extremely low prices for procedures may in-part be due to the physician (or person) evaluating the technology getting involved with inexpensive Laser Systems or IPL Systems without truly understanding the physics behind how the "light" interacts with human tissue. Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is NOT Laser technology. There are many factors to take into consideration when purchasing a Laser System and price should really be the last factor. Unfortunately, at some of the "low price" facilities the only factor that may have been taken into consideration is price. And often times an IPL device is being utilized in place of a Laser System. This allows the facility the opportunity to offer procedures at a very cheap price. The first and most important question you should ask yourself as a consumer is, "What am I paying for?" In essence, if the price is too good to be true -- your probably not getting the best clinical procedure. The result from many low price facilities is disappointment in clinical outcome (and hopefully that is all -- nobody wants to have a patient suffer the results as shown on the CNN story).There are many other factors that need to be taken into consideration when determining which laser technology to implement at a clinical facility -- and that is why you, our customer, relies on us as Providers of Advanced Technology to determine what will provide the best clinical treatment in our hands. You want to take advantage of our Clinical Expertise, Training and Knowledge to provide the best treatment of your specific condition. There will be a few customers that are not good candidates for services at Tuscany MedSpa; however, we can only make this determination after completing a comprehensive patient Consultation -- which is provided FREE of Charge. Every patient is unique and deserves the right to be treated individually -- or not treated at Tuscany MedSpa if the best treatment is out of the Scope of Service provided by our facility. Because of our in depth knowledge regarding how light interacts with tissue, you will not see an IPL device implemented at Tuscany MedSpa. There are some applications in which IPL offers a fair trade-off when compared to the cost of a good Laser System -- but none worth the risk of clinical complications. At Tuscany MedSpa we own three different types of Laser Systems to be able to provide the clinical treatments we believe are beneficial to our customers. We have invested over $260,000.00 in technology to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes -- but we did not stop there. We also established a Business Model to include an onsite Medical Director who is personally involved with the patient from time of Consultation to time of Treatment. Our Medical Director is available to perform or supervise every clinical procedure. These decisions were made to help ensure that you, our patient, receives the best possible treatment and follow-up care.
